Malaspina
University College - Nanaimo British Columbia
In 1989, Malaspina was designated a University-College
and began offering selected university degree programs
in conjunction with the University of Victoria. Legislation
passed by the provincial government, in January 1995,
allowed Malaspina to grant independent degrees, and in
June 1998 Malaspina conferred the first of its own degrees.
